Welcome to SOLIDS For JDM, a grassroots movement dedicated to propelling John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to victory in the 2024 elections. With a commitment to fostering change and empowering communities, SOLIDS For JDM is driven by a collective vision for a better, more inclusive future for all Ghanaians.

Vision
To be a thriving political special interest group that canvasses votes for the NDC.

Mission
We are formed: 

  • To engage people at the grassroot to vote for the NDC.
  • To organise life changing events and programmes at the grassroots to conscientize people to vote for the NDC.
  • To work hand in hand with the NDC executive machinery in all the orphaned  constituencies to design programmes to support their standing MPs to engage the grassroots. 
  • To equip new recruits from other political parties and rejuvenate the already existing party members with an NDC-centered socialist ideals and policies that work in real life such as the 24-hour Economy Policy.
  • To coordinate activities with any NDC like-minded groups or committee as deemed appropriate to our purpose statement.

Our Political Philosophy 
Looking at the ongoing political terrain in Ghana, the 2024 election may be a very difficult battle for any political party to swoop the winner takes all election decision giving the situation of the new political parties that have sprung up. Hence, the formation of SOLIDS For JDM is to rally support for His Excellency John Mahama and to work vigorously to canvass votes for the NDC at the grassroot and support any NDC standing MP anywhere in Ghana to campaign for votes especially at the ‘’Orphaned Constituencies’’. Thus, our agenda is termed the CUT ACROSS PROJECT. The terminology orphaned constituencies denote all constituencies that the NDC have over the years is yet to capture the political seat, such as DOME-Kwabenya, Trobo, Anyaa-Sowutuom, Ablekuma, Okaikwei Central, Weija Gbawe, Amasaman and many others.

The Cut Across Project

Central to our agenda is The Cut Across Project, a strategic initiative designed to bridge gaps and break barriers within communities. By targeting orphaned constituencies—areas where the NDC has historically struggled to secure political representation—we aim to foster greater engagement, empower local leaders, and drive meaningful change from the ground up. From Dome-Kwabenya to Trobo to Anyaa-Sowutuom, we are committed to reaching every corner of the nation and ensuring that no constituency is left behind.
